Step 1 should be cut 1 lining – 4″ × 11″ not 4″ × 9″

Step 6 should be Place the outer cover right side down, then lay the center lining (4″ × 10¼" not 4″ × 9″) over the vertical center wrong sides together. Next place the hemmed lining pieces right side up matching the raw edges. Round each of the outer corners by placing a quarter on each corner, marking the curve and then trimming the fabric from corner.

1/4” seam allowance unless otherwise noted.

7. Mark nine 3” lines on one of the 5½” x 6½” pieces. Round bottom corners of pocket piece by placing a quarter on each corner marking the curve and then trim it away.

Pieced Pocket Apron Correction
7. Cut a small slit through a single layer only of the back fabric near the center and turn the button tab RSO through the slit. Center this on B about 1/2” below the top pocket edge. Stitch button tab in place and sew on a variety of buttons. With wrong sides together place pieced pocket on lining piece and bind the top edge with single fold binding finished 1/4”.
